Multi-Currency Converter API

What it does

The Multi-Currency Converter API returns exchange rates from one source currency to several target currencies in a single request. Send a source currency code and a targets array, for example usd to ["eur", "gbp", "jpy"], and get back a flat JSON object keyed by currency pair, such as usd_eur and usd_gbp.

Add an optional date in YYYY-MM-DD format to get historical rates for that day. Leave it out to get today's rates. If a rate is unavailable for a pair, its value is false, so check each key before you use it.

Use it to fill a multi-currency pricing page in one call, convert an invoice total for customers in several regions, or build monthly reports that show revenue in every currency you sell in. One request replaces a loop of single-pair calls, which cuts latency and code.

For a single pair, the Currency Converter API returns one rate.

Pairs well with: the Currencies Dictionary API to check the codes in targets before the call, and the Global Pricing Recommendations API to set market-specific prices that you then show in each local currency. AI agents can call the multi-currency converter API through ApyHub MCP.

About this endpoint

What it does

Converts one source currency into multiple target currencies for a given date and returns a JSON object of conversion results keyed by currency pair.

Request Body

Parameter	Type	Description
date	String	Date in `YYYY-MM-DD` format. Defaults to today when omitted or blank.
source	String	Source currency code.
targets	String Array	Target currency codes to convert into.

Response

Returns a JSON object whose top-level fields are dynamic currency-pair keys such as usd_eur, usd_gbp, and usd_jpy.

Parameter	Type	Description
`{source}_{target}`	Decimal	One field per requested target, keyed as the `source` and `target` codes joined by an `underscore` (for example `usd_eur`). The value is the exchange rate for that pair.
